Ryan Carlton brings to Dentures Plus, a vast area of expertise and experience, including the role of lab manager at one of New Zealand's largest dental labs.

“My main specialties are in full and partial dentures, implant supported dentures, and mouth guards for sports,” he says.

“I also design and manufacture on-site, bite splints, for those patients who have jaw pain issues, or who grind their teeth at night.”

Today, advances in dentistry have meant many people requiring teeth replacement are now seeking the help of clinical dental technicians like Ryan and his team at Dentures Plus.

Being one of the largest labs of its kind in Christchurch, Dentures Plus creates completely natural-looking partial and full dentures, using modern resins and composite- coated teeth. Making all dentures, splints and guards on-site is unique advantage too.

For patients, this means that your dentures are customised to fit you perfectly, with all the necessary tools available to adjust, tweak and smooth any areas that require adjusting – all while you wait.

“We are quite different here, in many ways. For one, we offer the very latest in injection moulding technology. This method improves the overall fit and strength of the denture, and is also manufactured on-site in our lab.”

Dentures Plus also specialise in flexible, lightweight and unbreakable partial dentures.

“We call them ‘the unbreakable denture’ here,” Ryan says, and are one of our most popular products.”

Also for sale onsite, is a range of denture maintenance products, including a clinic-only denture cleaner, Caldent.

“This product is definitely the best on the market. The supermarket bought brands of cleaners simply don’t compare.”

In his Dentures Plus laboratory, Ryan has five additional staff, including dental technicians.

“With Christmas approaching fast, we are bound to be busy – so it’s best to book in your appointment in the coming weeks.”

With the skill set offered by the team at Dentures Plus right at your fingertips, there's simply no need to put up with the discomfort of your old dentures any longer.
